The purpose of this document is to describe Hód-Beton Kft. (Registered office: 6800 Hódmezővásárhely, Nyár utca 43., company registration number: 06-09-011783, tax number: 14107722-2-06) as a data controller (hereinafter uniformly Data Controller) data protection rules, procedures and safeguards for personal and applied personal data. The Data Controller considers the rules, provisions and obligations described in this Data Management Information to be legally binding and applies in its operation, and declares that the data protection rules and procedures described and applied in this document comply with the applicable national and European data protection legislation. The Data Controller further states that it considers the right to self-determination of information to be important, in particular with regard to personal data, and takes all available organizational, operational, regulatory and technological measures within its scope to respect and enforce these rights. The Data Management Information may be changed by the Data Controller at any time, in addition to the obligation to publish and inform the Stakeholders.

1. Legal basis for data management

We process our data primarily in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, hereinafter: GDPR) and other EU and Hungarian legislation on data processing. The english text of the GDPR is available here. In addition to the provisions of the GDPR, data management is also regulated by the Hungarian legislation in force, such as:

  • Act CXII of 2011 on the right to information self-determination and freedom of information. Act (Information Act.),
  • Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (Civil Code),
  • Act XLVIII of 2008 on the basic conditions and certain restrictions of economic advertising activity. Act (Commercial Advertising Act.),
  • CVIII of 2001 on certain aspects of electronic commerce services and information society services. Act (Electronic Commerce Act).

Within the legal requirements, our data management complies with the data management principles set out in the GDPR, according to which personal data:
  • be processed lawfully and fairly and in a way that is transparent to the data subject ("legality, due process and transparency");
  • collected only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not treated in a way incompatible with those purposes; further processing for data purposes for archiving in the public interest, for scientific and historical research purposes or for statistical purposes ("purpose limitation") shall not be considered incompatible with the original purpose in accordance with Article 89 (1);
  • they must be appropriate and relevant to the purposes of the data processing and limited to what is necessary ("data saving");
  • they must be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; all reasonable steps must be taken to ensure that personal data which are inaccurate for the purposes of the processing are erased or rectified without delay ("accuracy");
  • it must be stored in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed; personal data may be stored for a longer period only if the processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with Article 89 (1) for archiving in the public interest, for scientific and historical research purposes or for statistical purposes, in accordance with this Regulation; subject to the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect its freedoms ("limited storage capacity");
  • shall be handled in such a way as to ensure adequate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage to personal data ("integrity and confidentiality"), using appropriate technical or organizational measures.

Personal data

When we use our services, we collect various types of information, such as usernames and passwords, contacts, and other settings. We track what products you look at on our website, what tools you use to do so, which email newsletter you are interested in, and from this we collect additional information about you so that we can create personalized offers and improve our services. When you purchase or register on our website, we also handle your name and the following personal information:

  • identification data: which means last name and first name (name), e-mail address, billing address, delivery address, username and password;
  • contact details, these are the personal details that allow you to stay in touch, such as: email address, phone number, order details, which are details of the product and services ordered, the method of delivery and payment, including the bank account number and details of complaints;
  • settings, which means the information contained in the account, especially saved addresses and profiles, newsletter settings, product and service ratings, and completed questionnaires;
  • information collected while using customer service, such as recorded conversations, identification of messages sent, including identifiers such as IP address.

  • identification data: surname and first name (name), e-mail address, password

  • geographical data: the geographical location of the product (s) connected to the service
  • data related to the use of the product (through the service): data of favorite stores, suppliers, “Deliveries” and “Sent” set on the service interface

Technical data

Technical data, the data that are mostly generated and recorded automatically during the operation of the Data Management systems. Some technical data is stored by the system without a separate statement or action by the Data Subject and is automatically logged in some cases. The technical data are not directly suitable for the identification of the data subject, but they can be linked to user data, so that identification is in principle possible. Such data connections are not made by the Data Controller, except in certain cases when the Data Controller is obliged to do so by law. Only the Data Controller and the Data Processors have access to the technical data.
